Although the Indie Craft Experience (ICE) has become well known for hosting a variety of events for independent crafters to showcase their creations, one tried and true favorite remains a staple among crafters and shoppers alike – the popular summer market. Hosted twice a year, once during the summer and again during the holiday season, the Indie Craft Experience will be held June 2-3, 2012 at Ambient Plus Studio in Atlanta.
The June event marks the 14th ICE, but the ladies of the Indie Craft Experience have some new tricks up their sleeves. Hot off the heels from their wildly successful Salvage marketplace, the summer market will feature a section of vintage vendors and even an Art Swap where attendees can trade in their old pieces for something new.
In addition to the Art Swap you can expect the popular swag bags to return. The first 250 people to arrive each day will walk away with a tote designed by either Sarah Keys of Ibby & Rufus or The Argyle Academy. King of Pops, Good Food Truck and Ursa Minor Coffee will be on site as well.
The Indie Craft Experience will include vendors hand-selected by the event organizers. These local and national crafters will be selling a variety of incredible handmade creations representing their diverse craft community.
